BLACK & WHITE BALL VI at Propeller

Opening Reception: Thursday, February 4, 2016 / 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Propeller Gallery
30 Abell Street

Propeller’s sixth annual juried exhibition comprised entirely of artworks in black and white.

The exhibit is inspired by Truman Capote’s 1966 “Black and White Ball”, held at the Grand Ballroom of New York City’s Plaza Hotel. It was considered to be “the most posh event, not just of the year, but also of the decade, and maybe even the century.”

Iconic, bitchy, mysterious, elegant… just some of the many adjectives used to describe the event, and the guests. Let these inspire and engage you…

In conjunction Propeller will be hosting a Black and White reception, on Thursday, February 4th from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Dress in black, white, or both! Masks encouraged!

*Exhibition information: February 3 – 14, 2016, Propeller Gallery, 30 Abell Street, Toronto. Gallery hours: Wed – Sat: 12 – 6, Sun: 12 – 5 p.m.
