artoronto.ca is an online art magazine that provides an open venue for critical dialogue on the exhibition of contemporary art in Toronto since May, 2011. It contains art reviews and cover issues that are important to the art community of Toronto. It is be an important voice for the diversity in the arts.
Please forward media releases and send your information via email to kemeseh@gmail.com. Please send a low definition digital image of the show as well so we can have more information about your exhibition as we are looking for exhibitions to have writers review.
Toronto is the fourth largest arts centre in North America. There is a strong interest in the Toronto arts scene but not enough opportunity for critical discourse or shared dialogue. This venture not only provides art reviews, interviews and events coverages but allows artists an opportunity to engage the public.
artoronto.ca aims to help fill a void in the coverage of the contemporary arts in Toronto.
Online readership is not only local but attract an international readership seeking information on the Toronto arts scene. We have an average of 170 000 hits per months from 16 different countries.
We look forward to working with you in the future and hope that together we can create a stronger and vibrant arts community.
CALL FOR CONTENT
Submissions
We are looking for online content for artoronto.ca including short art reviews (Briefs, about 150-250 words) and Feature articles. We will reserve the right to edit all submissions with approvals .
Any submitted images must have the artists approval regarding copyright for publishing online. artoronto.ca cannot pay for submissions at this point in time but we hope to as we grow and attract some revenue through future advertising.
