Join Canadian Art for their annual Gallery Hop Day in Toronto!

Presented in partnership with RBC, our Gallery Hop Days will be held on September 26 – 27, 2015. Gallery Hop Days are free and includes shows, talks and tours happening at galleries throughout the city. The day begins with a panel conversation, continues with tours and talks. Don’t miss these exciting events!

PANEL DISCUSSION: THE COLLECTORS
Saturday, September 26, 2015 /10:30–11:45 a.m.
The Underground, Drake Hotel, 1150 Queen Street West

The collector plays a vital role in the art world, acting as a patron of artists and institutions as well as a cultural commentator whose choices and actions influence the shape of the art market.
Join Canadian Art associate editor Nicholas Brown as he kicks off the Gallery Hop with a panel that looks at the role of collecting at the intersection of public institutions, private collections, art dealers and artists (collected and collectors in their own right).
Space is limited at the panel discussion; please RSVP by registering online at canadianart.ca/galleryhopregister before you arrive.
