Black and White Ball

Thrusday, February 7, 2013, 7 – 10 p.m.
PROPELLER CENTRE FOR THE VISUAL ARTS
984 Queen Street West

A juried exhibition featuring works in black and white.

Black and White III is one of Propeller’s most anticipated annual exhibitions. We invite guests to ‘dress- to- impress’ in black and white attire to the Black and White Ball happening Thursday February 7, 7-10 pm.

The exhibit is inspired by Truman Capote’s 1966, Black and White Ball, held at the Grand Ballroom of New York City’s Plaza Hotel.  It was considered to be “the most posh event, not just of the year, but also of the decade, and maybe even the century”

Iconic, bitchy, mysterious, elegant…just some of the many adjectives used to describe the event, and the guests. Lets these art works inspire and engage you…

Organized by Heather Gentleman

The show of more than 30 artists’ black and white works are open February 6- 17, 2013. Gallery hours: Wed – Sat: 12 – 6, Sun: 12 – 5 p.m.
