Several exhibitions were opening at Xpace’s new location at 303 Lansdowne Avenue. According to director Amber Landgraff the new space is about the same size as the former location on Ossington but all on one level.

Artist Janine Miedzik

The front window work, Façade by artist Janine Miedzik used colourful  tape to create a wonderful installation. It was the perfect window work to draw attention to the new space. The Main Gallery Space had an exhibition The Archivists curated by Cameron Lee with works by Melissa Fisher, Zoe Solomon, and Felix Kalmenson.

The reception was packed with people who came to check out the art works in a great new space. Former Gallery Director and artist, Derek Linddington was there with his son, Cash to enjoy the new place and the shows as well.

The show is open February 1 – 23, 2013, gallery hours: Tuesday – Saturday 12 – 6 p.m.
